Title VI\u00a0Non-Discrimination<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Great Springs Project\u00a0values each individual\u2019s civil rights and wishes to provide equal opportunity and equitable service to all citizens, and has adopted a Title VI Implementation Plan and Policy as part of the\u00a0Great Springs Project\u2019s\u00a0continual and ongoing effort to proactively meet and exceed the minimum compliance requirements established under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VI), 49 CFR \u00a7 26, and the related anti-discrimination statutes and regulations.\u202f<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The following individuals\u00a0have\u00a0been identified as\u00a0Great Springs Project\u2019s\u00a0Title VI\u00a0Program Coordinators\u00a0and\u00a0are\u00a0responsible for\u00a0initiating\u00a0and monitoring Title VI activities, preparing reports,\u00a0and performing other responsibilities, as required by 23 C.F.R\u202f\u00a7 200 and 49 C.F.R. \u00a7 21.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Title VI Complaint of Discrimination<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Any person who believes that he or she as a member of a protected class, has been discriminated against based on race, color, national origin, gender, age, disability, religion, low income status, or Limited English Proficiency in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended and its related statutes, regulations and directives, Section 504 of the Vocational Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, as amended, and any other Federal nondiscrimination statute may submit a complaint.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The complaint should be\u00a0submitted\u00a0within\u00a0180 days\u00a0of\u00a0the alleged\u00a0discrimination. While a Complainant may preliminarily\u00a0submit\u00a0his or her complaint by online form submission, mail, facsimile, or email to the Title VI Coordinator, a signed, original copy of the complaint must be mailed to the Title VI Coordinator to officially begin the complaint process.
